Experience as a Software Engineer
The layers of software engineering where I had the opportunity to work on and willingness to improve. Read bottom-up: from silicon to hardware independence.
Integrating AI tooling into everyday engineering practice: prompt-driven development and agent-based automation.
Scripting and automating repeated tasks: build pipelines, test execution, release packaging, and report generation. These automation scripts are the prerequisite for Layer 7.
Quality assurance across the development lifecycle: test case design, static analysis, runtime coverage measurement, and standards compliance.
Design and operation of SIL/HIL validation environments for software components. Timing analysis, runtime profiling, and distributed test execution at scale.
Firmware development: hardware bring-up, peripheral driver implementation (I2C, UART, EEPROM), HAL generation, component development, and remote execution environments. Memory analysis and ELF/linker map inspection.
FPGA implementation for real-time applications. Custom hardware for timing capture and runtime instrumentation on embedded systems.
Understanding and working at the silicon level: memory maps, debug interfaces (SWD/JTAG), and hardware-specific constraints.
